ANSI Class 900

A+R strongly continues development in ball valves KHF series ANSI Class 900 metal seats.
A huge worldwide demand in spite of economical crisis made A+R decide for large investments regarding mentioned product range.

Companies in petrochemical and coal-chemical business are major customers.

New significant coal-chemical project orders were won in China beginning of 2010.

A+R considers these challenging fields of industry for high tech metal seated ball valves as major milestone for positive business development.

A+R develops business in Asia

In August 2009 A+R got another major order.

Solvay Thailand purchased stainless steel ball valves ½” – 8”, ANSI 150 – ANSI 600 for their new “HPPO2-HP” hydrogen peroxide plant.
Toyo-Thai Engineering Corp. plans and erects the project.
All ball valves must be decontaminated under strict clean conditions. Passivation of the valve is a must as well.
A+R developed a special PTFE and Graphite sealing system which was tested acc. to API 607 Fire-Safe and fulfils API 598.
The order value amounts to more than 1 Million USD.

A+R Metal Seated Ball Valves for +650°C (1200° F)

A+R has continuously proceeded the R&D program for metal seated ball valves to be used for extreme severe applications. The high demand of our customers from the refinery and petrochemical industry has been accelerating this development significantly. Thanks to the excellent assistance of our customers in regard of material and application research we are now ready to offer metal seated ball valves from special material e.g. Inconell for extremely erosive applications up to +650°C (1200° F).

A+R Ball Valves for Bayer TDI-Train Shanghai

A+R received the contract for the supply of 3000 units flanged ball valves for the Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) AG TDI-Project at the Bayer Integrated Site Shanghai (BISS). BMS erects a new TDI (Toluene diisocyanate) plant for an annual production capacity of 200.000 to.

A+R upgrades delivery capacity

In periods of crisis, from experience, companies reduce their stock for reasons of economy.

A+R does it the other way around.

We enlarge our delivery capacity for the advantage of our customers.

More than 20.000 pcs. standard ball valves with different nominal diameter, pressure range, flanges and materials are available on stock.

Further 30.000 pcs. ball valve castings and ready machined parts are on stock as well. Out of these A+R can quickly machine e.g. flange ball valves with metal seated sealing techniques or standard stock items.

Especially with this concept we want to attract interest to our distributors to generate a rapid supply for the day to day business.

New Project

PolymerLatex Sdn Bhd, Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia has been contracted A+R for the ball valve supply provided for it´s new Malaysia production site project to be erected in early 2009. The entire supply involves appr. 1700 units of manual operated ball valves ANSI 150# and 300#, 1” up to 8” as well as ball valves with pneumatic actuators and accessories. The contract amounts 1.3 Mio. USD.

16. October 2008

ANSI Class 600

Flanged ball valves ANSI Class 600, ½“ to 8“ have been fully integrated into the A+R production.
Now, the proven split body Type KHF is available also in ANSI Class 600 metal seated as well as soft seated. Floating ball design and trunnion mounted type “double block and bleed” can be provided. The construction features fulfil the requirements of Petrochemical and Gas Industry.

08.Septemper 2008

New Projects

Evonik Industries AG awarded A+R with significant contracts for ball valve supplies. From August to September 2008 A+R received the contracts for the restructuring of the 2-PH plant at Marl-Germany site as well as the contract for metal seated ball valves for four new solar silicon plants in Italy, Netherland and France. The total contracts value amounts 1.6 Mio USD.

14. August 2008

New high bay warehouse

As a result of continuous company growth A+R expanded the storage- and production capacity. The new high bay warehouse was commissioned in August 2008. Now there is additional space of 1.750 europallets which are equivalent to 1.220 metric tons stock items.

Kai Koeppen General Manager

With effect from 13.06.2008 Dipl. Ing. Kai Köppen is assigned as managing director within a ceremony to the dedication of the new A+R high bay warehouse.

Mr. Köppen will execute the management of A+R- Armaturen GmbH in association with Mr. Gerhard- Michael Decius.
